New International Intermodal Trains See 14% YoY Growth in Cargo Transport in the First Three Quarters

     According to data from CR-Nanning, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor rail-sea intermodal trains transported 633,000 TEUs of goods in the first three quarters this year, marking a 14% year-on-year increase. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, there was a strong demand for the transportation of essential goods such as holiday supplies, grains, and fertilizers at the key hub station of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Qinzhou Guangdong Railway Station. Guangxi Coastal Railway Co., Ltd. maintained communication and coordination with the port and customs, ensuring precise supply and priority transport of essential goods. They optimized vehicle pick-up and delivery operations at Qinzhou Guangdong Railway Station, reducing vehicle pick-up and delivery time to 60 minutes, resulting in a 33% increase in efficiency.
